Commander’s Cross of the Order of Military Merit with Swords, suspended on a neck ribbon in black, yellow and white. The cross is covered in deep red enamel, overlaid with gilt swords and a laurel wreath. The central medallion features the Bulgarian rampant lion on a dark red enamel ground, within a white enamel ring inscribed “За военна заслуга” and dated “1891”. The suspension is formed as a royal crown with green and white enamel detailing. Fine quality execution typical of early issues.
