    A Brass Barrel Kentucky Style Flintlock Pistol With Lovely Tiger Striped Maple Full Stock Circa 1820.

    Plain 7 inch round barrel stamped “LONDON” with British gunmaker’s proofs 52 caliber. Bolted lock with sparse engraving signed “BOLTON & CO”. Gooseneck cock. Brass Kentucky style furniture. Simple S type sideplate.

    The true beauty of this pistol is in the Kentucky form of the full stock and the high polish of the pronounced “Tiger Maple” stock. Lock is patinated but maker’s name is clear. Unbridled frizzen. Action is good and bore is good.

    An attractive “Kentucky” pistol.

    A Very Rare And Highly Collectible American Flintlock Secondary Martial Or “Kentucky” Pistol By Halbach & Sons Circa 1795.

    8 and 3/4 inch round iron barrel with no proofs, .56 caliber. The plain iron barrel with “wedding rings” at breech typical of early flintlock martial pistols though Flayderman states “No known military contracts”. Plain bolted, stepped lock with classic “Halbach” swan neck cock and “Halbach” filed frizzen spring.

    The most interesting and unique feature of all Halbach pistols is the oversized brass buttplate with high relief raised American eagle holding a large shield surmounted by thirteen stars. The brass mounts are characteristically American including triggerguard with rudimentary acorn finial and sunburst. Finely sculpted brass sideplate.

    Walnut fullstock with primitive carving behind breech tang. Condition is untouched throughout with only one very minor loss to stock behind breech tang. Bore is fair and lock is functional on full and half cock. A classic piece of Americana as well as an important Federal Period flintlock pistol.

    A Scarce And Unusual Georgian Silver Mounted Officer’s Pistol With Brass Barrel And Lock Signed “Abney & Co” Circa 1775.

    8 and 1/8 inch slightly swamped round barrel with top flat marked “London”. 62 caliber. Barrel with gunmakers’ proofs and further stamped “WG”. Sparse engraving at breech. The rounded lock well engraved with foliage and “Abney & Co” in a riband. Gooseneck hammer engraved (wear). Full silver mounts comprising engraved triggerguard, openwork engraved sideplate, silver thumb piece, thimbles, and fine cast and chased grotesque mask buttcap.

    Figured molded walnut full stock with raised shell carving at breech tang. Brass tipped ramrod. Brass barrel with minor marks but crisp engraving. Engraved lock in good condition. Silver mounts rate fine throughout. Beautiful figured walnut stock rates excellent with almost no wear or marks. Action is strong on both full and half cock. Bore is fine.

    This is a extremely showy and attractive Revolutionary War period pistol that would have been carried by a wealthy officer.

    Birmingham proofs. Barrel stamped “ELG” but not the normal Liege proof. Steel tang engraved with small flower. Plain bolted front action lock signed “KETLAND & CO. British military style hammer with border engraving ensuite with lock. Plain brass military style mounts with good serpentine brass sideplate.

    Walnut full stock with only minor marks and protective over varnish but in fine condition throughout. Replaced ramrod. Action is crisp on both half and full cock with powerful mainspring. Bore is excellent. 14 inches overall.

    A good looking British militia type pistol popular during the Napoleonic wars.

    A Continental Flintlock Holster Pistol with Silver Inlaid Barrel by Johann Christoph Kuchenreuter 1755-1818.

    The 9 and 3/4 inch octagonal barrel finely inlaid with silver scrolls and maker’s name “J. Christoph Kuchenreuter”. Silver foresight and sunken poincon with gold Kuchenreuter horse and ridge and initials “JCK”. Plain stepped bolted front action lock of good quality, Bridled frizzen. Gooseneck cock a period replacement.

    Plain steel mounts with flattened ovoid butt ending in a steel skull crusher cap. Dark walnut full stock. Condition of barrel is good with brown patina and fine silver inlay throughout. Lock and mounts are dark patinated steel. Set trigger functions. Walnut stock with old repair on right side ahead of lock. Mainspring is strong but hammer will not hold on cock.

    Brass tipped ramrod is replaced but fits well. A good flintlock pistol with barrel by one of Germany’s greatest and most famous gunmakers.

    This is one of the nicest SS Tropical sets we have seen. Looks almost brand new and must have been stored away for decades untouched. The buckle rates 100% and is nicely SS and RZM marked on the reverse. The front of the buckle is very pretty with excellent detail and a frosty look. The buckle comes with stunning belt that shows no pulls, no stains and has a crisp feel to it. Would be very hard to find a nicer set than this one.

All machine sewn and shows no damage or staining. Excellent example.

    A Good Brass Barrel Brass Mounted English Flintlock Officer’s Pistol Circa 1812 By George Jones, Aston Row, Birmingham (1807-1817). 

    9 and 3/4 inch round brass barrel with Birmingham gunmakers proofs. .60 caliber.

    Well signed bolted flat lock plate with line engraving. Swan neck cock line engraved en suite. Brass mounts. Triggerguard with acorn finial. Finely figured walnut fullstock Brass tipped wood ramrod. Overall in very fine original condition. 

    15 and 3/8th inches overall, this veteran of the Napoleonic War period is a most attractive flintlock officer’s pistol by a well known maker. The action is crisp on both half and full cock and the bore is fine.

    9 inch round barrel with molded breech. Stirrup rammer. Bolted British military lock struck with crown over “GR” for George III. Tail of the lock struck with “TOWER”. Military pattern brass mounts. Very fine condition walnut full stock stamped “IK”.

    Barrel with military acceptance viewed and proofed stamps. Stock further stamped :”GR”. Action is excellent and bore is good. Stock very crisp and full dimension.

    A really good example of this desirable British military flintlock pistol.

    This is a very large Dutch Brass mounted holster pistol.

    It features a chiselled barrel and the stock has light engraving that is quite well worn. The side plate has an elaborate replacement part of dubious aesthetic quality.

    The pistol is approximately 65 caliber. The ramrod appears to be mediocre quality replacement  and the forward ramrod pipe is possibly a replacement. The name on the lock is quite worn and not readable.
