This is a beautiful English Napoleonic Period yeomanry pistol by the well-known maker William Parker, No. 233 Holborn Street, London. These were commonly used by English militia and volunteers intending to protect the British Isles from a possible French flat bottom fleet invasion across the channel during the Napoleonic Wars.

Wealthy militia officers had a wide variety of weapons from which to choose to arm their local troops, and this was one of the popular weapons of choice.

This musket bore weapon is approximately .65 caliber and has the standard English proofs and markings. The action functions flawlessly. It has a captive (stirrup) ramrod.

The weapon is overall in excellent condition with a few instances of light wood bruising that would be expected with the handling of an issued weapon.
