A Brass Barrel Kentucky Style Flintlock Pistol With Lovely Tiger Striped Maple Full Stock Circa 1820.

Plain 7 inch round barrel stamped “LONDON” with British gunmaker’s proofs 52 caliber. Bolted lock with sparse engraving signed “BOLTON & CO”. Gooseneck cock. Brass Kentucky style furniture. Simple S type sideplate.

The true beauty of this pistol is in the Kentucky form of the full stock and the high polish of the pronounced “Tiger Maple” stock. Lock is patinated but maker’s name is clear. Unbridled frizzen. Action is good and bore is good.

An attractive “Kentucky” pistol.
