Original SS belt buckle made of aluminum. The front features the iconic SS eagle clutching a wreath with a swastika, surrounded by the motto: “Meine Ehre heißt Treue” – “My honor is loyalty”, the official slogan of the SS.

This type of buckle was issued to SS personnel during the pre-war and early wartime period (approximately until 1940), after which steel versions became more common.
