The oval wreath is struck in a silvered alloy, while the eagle is produced in dark oxidized zinc with the crisp detailing typical for Deumer—distinct beak, sharply cut wings, and well-defined talons. The reverse bears the clear maker’s mark “W. DEUMER LÜDENSCHEID.”

The hardware corresponds to Deumer’s authentic early configuration: a narrow tubular hinge, long slightly curved pin, and a solid block catch. The wreath shows expected wear to the silver finish, yet the leaf detail remains strong. The eagle retains a uniform dark patina with no signs of cleaning. Overall condition is good and fully original, with no repairs or restoration.
