A typical German Fire Brigade dirk from the late Weimar era to early Third Reich period. The blade is straight, single-edged polished steel with a narrow fuller. The brass crossguard features four faceted terminals resembling the characteristic “fire service” spike design. The grip is black with spiral grooves and brass spacers, topped with a large bulb-shaped brass pommel typical for early fire brigade patterns.
The scabbard is leather-covered with brass throat and tip, matching the pre-war period construction. Overall condition is good: clean blade, evenly patinated brass, and well-preserved leather.
